Learn Reiki and become a practitioner with Jane Miners this spring! This class will span over several weeks, meeting on the first Saturday of each month and on two evenings over the course of 3 months from April-June. This class structure is designed to support students to become confident with the material, methods and techniques through personal practice, reading materials and online videos and support. Students will have “check-ins” on the weeks with no class meetings to go over any materials or questions.
No experience is necessary to take this course. Reiki is an ancient healing technique and a powerful self-healing tool. This class will teach you the traditional Usui methods of practicing Reiki and you will be equipped with the tools to use it on yourself and others. You will learn how Reiki can be used in everyday life, how to cleanse and protect your energy, and how Reiki can be used as a spiritual practice not associated with religion.
You will learn and memorize the sacred Usui Reiki symbols, learn how to send distance Reiki, and conduct a professional session. You will receive a Reiki manual, and supplementary guide. This training will be held in person at Chico Holistic Wellness Center. Students must commit to all class meetings.
This class requires 12 hours of practice hours outside of class to receive certificate. Students will be given the opportunity to practice on classmates and others outside of class to fulfill requirements.
Students will learn how to send distance Reiki, and will be given plenty of time to practice in and out of the class. Each student will be equipped to use Reiki in their personal life, and as a practice, or as a professional service. This class prepares students to progress to higher levels of Reiki, the Advanced Practitioner Training (ART/Master Practitioner), or Reiki Master Training if they choose.
